Whilst this isn’t strictly a green juice recipe, it is a fantastically tasty green smoothie recipe that solves an age-old dilemma – how to get all the nutrients in Kale without having to actually it!
- 1 banana, thickly sliced
- 2 cups chopped kale
- 1 tablespoon flax seed or hemp seed (optional)
- 1/4 cup soya milk
- 1/3 cup orange juice
Place everything into a blender, including the soya milk and orange juice. Cover, and puree until smooth, then serve immediately.
The orange juice can be replaced with most fruits – grapes, pears, apples all add the desired sweetness to this green smoothie drink.
